Top prize to Duluth East 10th grader Caroline Kriske

DULUTH, MN—Congressman Rick Nolan, in partnership with the Duluth Art Institute, announced today that Caroline Kriske, a sophomore at Duluth East High School, is the winner of the 2013 Annual 8th District Congressional Art Competition.

Caroline was named “Best in Show” for her piece, “Through Their Eyes,” a pencil drawing of a soldier saluting the American flag.

DULUTH, MN—The U.S. Department of Transportation has formally obligated $16 million in funds to the Duluth Transit Authority for construction of the Twin Ports Multi-Modal Transportation Center, Eighth District Congressman Rick Nolan announced today.
