Nolan Announces Transportation Subcommittee Assignments for the 115th Congress
U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan today announced his subcommittee assignments on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure.
In the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, Nolan will serve on the subcommittees on Highways and Transit; Railroads, Pipelines and Hazardous Materials; and Aviation.
“We look forward to continuing our service to the people of the Eighth District, Minnesota and the Nation on the House Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure,” Nolan said. “We simply must rebuild America’s infrastructure – our roads, bridges, locks, highways, ports, pipelines, waterways, railroads and airports – and lay the foundation for more good-paying jobs from construction and building to economic and human development opportunities.”
“We cannot wait until another disaster like the drinking water crisis in Flint, Michigan, the I-35 bridge collapse in Minneapolis or the Amtrak derailment in Philadelphia happens again. It’s time we become a proactive nation and put this era of neglect to an end.”
