WASHINGTON — Eighth District Democratic U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan has joined a “Green” group of lawmakers — the House Sustainable Energy and Environment Coalition.
The coalition has 56 House members, all Democrats.
The local constituent services rep for Congressman Nolan, Rick Olseen, is learning more about propane than he ever thought necessary. The timing of the state’s annual propane association conference that he attended last week proved to be just about perfect as the congress is dealing with shortages of propane and prices that are of concern to many with limited incomes.
