WASHINGTON—U.S. Rep. Rick Nolan on Tuesday joined Republican Congressman David McKinley of West Virginia to introduce legislation allowing employees of federal prisons to carry firearms while commuting to and from work. The bill, H.R. 613, requires that a secure storage area be provided for employees to store their personal firearms while on the job, a release said.
